Bruno sat not too far off into the distance at this point. He didn't want to stray too far from the group that had magically formed. With Kwabangul sitting close by he eyed the conversation between the three and his ears where pulled forward intently. He was trying to listen in, as well as listen in to what he had to say. He would listen and nod. Something in his body told him to return to the group, yet his mind told him to withdraw himself from his return.
He sat with his chest high and with his head slightly tucked. Bruno's eyes where delicate and sensible. With a swift swish of his tail, he stood again, stretching and yawning loudly. Though he seemed bored he was quite interested in his environment, but he knew he wanted a part of the election that was proceeding near by. After his stretch, he stood emotionless as his eyes peared to the three.
He began initiating movement with Kwabangul back to the group. As he trotted toward them he asked politely, "Are there elections proceeding at this time? My name should go on the ballad." He chuckled at his pittyless humour. Apon his arrival with the two females and the male, he sat again, expecting Kwabangul to eventually fall back with him.

Audits flicked towards Kota, as she spoke. Of course she had a say! As far as Snow was concerned, the alpha would rule over all of them. It should be someone sensible. Sweetsnow, startled by Bruno's return, moved away from the two brutes, unsure of her opinion on Bruno. She stared at Saidin, now, when she spoke, thinking out her reply to Kota's question. If Saidin is going to take such a posistion lightly, maybe he isn't a good match for it. I say that if Bruno wants it, who is to stop him from getting it. I think either of you would be fine. I don't know much about either of you, so I should not be so quick to judge. She eyed Bruno, before looking to Kota. All of you are curious, I suppose. So I shall start from the beginning. I've heard this story numerous time, from our Storyteller in the old pack. She sat down, tail sweeping the ground as she did so. Fur ruffled, she began. Sweeper was born to two albinos, both of which are kind. Irall; our storyteller, was from his pack. When Sweeper was born, the pack became shifty- not liking the way any of the family looked. The albinos were freaks to them. It wasn't neccessary- They were peacefull wolven. But yet, the pair was attacked. The colored pups they had birthed were kidnapped, but then killed by the Betas, who claimed they were still diseased by the Pink Noses- that's what they called the Albinos at the time... Sweeper escaped, the only survivor out of the litter, but that was valid, for he was old enough to be on his own anyways. But he saw his mother die, which I suppose started his madness. Irall says he doesn't know where Sweeper went from there- or who he'd messed with. The next time we all saw Sweeper, even I, he was with one of my pack. He was in love with her. Her name was Aria. She was beautiful- a white pelt, striking yellow eyes. The Alpha had liked her- No matter the fact he already had a mate. But eventually, Road Sweeper won over Aria, and mated to her. They had a couple pups. The whole pack, except I, Irall, and a couple other femmes, were offended. The Alpha decided we should attack Aria. I refused to go. They killed all the pups, and Aria, as far as I knew. Sweeper haunted us, not allowing us to leave to hunt. When we hit near starvation, he stopped. All was quiet. The rest of the pack and I left to hunt, leaving the pregnant and nursing femmes there, along with their pups. I came back early, injured by the large bull we'd found. Most of the pups were dead, the females limping about and whining. She paused, thinking. She looked down at the ground, speaking lower now. I went into my den to see if my pup was there- I had taken one in from a femme that had too many. She was mine, but the pup nursed on a female that had lost all her pups to the river, when it had flooded over. Sweeper was eating the broody's body, the pup lieing in the corner. I crouched, staring. I watched as he finished, picking up my pup. I realized it was bleeding- out the eyes. In horror, I retched, nearly hurling my empty stomach. I sprang towards him, but he knocked me to the side, my scabbed shoulder ripping open and bleeding once more. I had snarled in pain and anger, leaping after the sickly brute. I, to tell you the truth, didn't care about him. I had turned, staring at him, before rolling onto the ground, flashing my belly. I had understood his anger, and therefore was telling him that I was not a threat. Sweeper had stared at me, before nodding, then bounding off. She sighed, finishing her story. She looked down for a long time, before looking up. The pack came back to the desolate graveyard, and we'd all scattered. I came here, not knowing I was following Sweeper and Knook- the pup-'s footsteps. Her shaggy head shook, and she looked to Kota. He hates coloreds. They've wronged him. He has every right to be angry. But not as much as he is. Kota. He hunts and terrorizes, only leaping onto you when you're so paranoid you jump at anything. When you expect him the most, when you expect him so much you attack anyone else that comes near you... That is when he gets you. Expect him, but not in a visible manner. He'll have to be killed. But I will not be the one to do it. She looked down once more, then up at Saidin, then Bruno. This is why one of you needs to make up your mind- Someone needs to step up before we're torn apart.

Saidin's laughter died away as Sweetsnow spoke. He had offended her... and Kota looked rather disappointed as well. Tail falling, he managed to keep his ears locked in an upright position to hide his feelings of ineptitude. Could Kota really feel that way? He glanced at the small wolf, but was quickly distracted by her all-too-important question... and Sweetsnow's incredible response. By the end of it he was staring at her in shock and horror. "That's..." His jaw worked for a while, as if he were about to speak, but he was incapable of finding a word appropriate enough to describe the atrocities she'd related to them. "Well, all right, so we stick together- with him around it's too dangerous to go our own ways. Stick together... and then..." His gaze flicked from wolf to wolf to the ground and back as he thought, and worked to put his fragmented ideas into coherent sentences. "Sweeper can't have any allies, other than that blinded flunky of his... what if we told Knook you're here, Snow? He can't know what's happened to him, how could he stay with Sweeper otherwise? So- so, if we told him, if you told him, could that split them up?" One wolf would be much less dangerous than two, though the albino was practically an army of craziness by himself. Still... one against five or six couldn't possibly hope to win.

Kwabangul watched Bruno listen to and watch the other three wolves in the area. Bruno appeared to be very intent on the conversation, with all his attention focused towards it. Realizing quickly that this was most likely a very important conversation -- why else would anyone pay so much attention to it? -- he decided to listen in as well, although maybe not as intensely as Bruno was.
Personally, Kwabangul didn't care too much about this discussion, no matter how important it was. He didn't belong here... he didn't really belong anywhere. He had no clue where he really was. He had heard that this place was 'a haven,' but... it didn't really seem like one. A temporary resting place, sure, but a home? This place being a home seemed unlikely, but a haven? There seemed to be no way.
Kwa began getting lost in his thoughts, his ears no longer in tune with the conversation. In fact, he hadn't really payed attention to a single word that had been spoken. Oh well, it didn't really matter.
Kwabangul felt a light breeze blow across his pelt, and he flicked his ears involuntarily, a reaction to the slight decrease in temperature. He glanced over at Bruno, who didn't seem to be paying much attention. In fact, he didn't seem to be disturbed at all by this wind. Odd... Kwa thought, this wind is just strong enough to bother me, and yet his fur doesn't seem even to be ruffled at all.
Suddenly, he was no longer himself, and Bruno had disappeared. What?! What's happening?! He became an observer, watching over a scene, a spectre in what seemed to be a familiar world.
There was a small wolf cub padding across the ground, nay, running really, sprinting as fast as his little paws could take him... He seemed lost, or frightened, as his head was flicking from side to side. A sound of crunching dirt and swishing grass could be heard nearby behind him...
As Bruno moved away, Kwabangul was brushed, and jolted out of this vision. Slightly startled, he promptly began following Bruno the the gathering of three, preparing to make it a gathering of five.
He reached the group just in time to hear Sweetsnow's doleful story.

"That's quite sad Snow, and I'm sorry, but you have to stay with us now, so you don't get attacked by Sweeper when you're alone." His eyes scanned the ground beneath him as a rather strange bug caught his attention. He tapped it a couple times with his paw, just playing with it. "I think we're all to scared to be alpha." He stopped himself from messing with the poor bug and looked at the group, " The alpha should be strong, and fearless. Especially if we are to be dealing with this Sweeper fellow again sometime in the future. I'm quite suprised about your refusal Saidin." He glared at him, looking for him to make some sort of leadership move. "I would die to be an alpha of a ... smaller pack. I would hate to be responsible for others deaths."
His voice was curious. His mind was chugging along envisioning himself as a leader. He felt it was his calling. He stared at Snow, "Now, who is going to be the alphess?" Bruno was reminded that he was alone. He had never had a special female friend before. "We still don't even know about that either."

Ahh, sad story indeed. But it wasn't mine. It was Sweepers. I merely told it. As for Alphess, that's for the male to decide. He can choose his mate, whoever the male is. If any other males want the posistion, or female, they will have to fight for it. I, myself, do not care. She said quietly, looking at Bruno. These wolves knew most of her life now. She felt extremely vunerable. Staring at Saidin, she noted his regret at offending her, then turned her head to Kota. The females must have say, of course. She said, looking back to the two, now three brutes. She blinked at the newest, before continuing. Unless you want even more problems, that is. She muttered. The mention of Knook scared her, and she turned to Saidin. If that is indeed Knook, I will get him myself. I am not afraid of Sweeper. She narrowed her eyes, then looked to Bruno, tail twitching. I've defended myself before. I am not useless. If this is all of what is to be our pack, then we already have an advantage. Of course. This all depends on our mental and physical capabilities.

Snow's story was sad indeed, even if it wasn't one that belonged to herself. But with the way she looked at life.. Everyone had a story. Even her herself had a story- her own parents had tried to kill her. Surely something like that would scar a creature for life. And certainly it had. But she wasn't stark raving mad, killing every wolf she didn't like the looks of. Or because of their gender.. It simply wasn't an excuse. A small whine escaped her and she relunctantly fell back down, paws no longer supporting the weight of her body. Though the whine wasn't caused by the fact she could no longer stand- it was due to the fact that a sharp cold realisation stung her. "It's my fault he is here.." She muttered, averting her gaze from the 'pack'. "If I hadn't run off this morning on my own, I wouldn't have been able to lead him here." Her maw dropped close to the floor as her tail twitched with anxiety. "If I hadn't then none of this will have happened." She felt small, now having admitted to her fault.

Sweetsnow's hard gaze fell onto Kota, her voice stern. He would have found this gathering anyways. He didn't follow you. If he did, you'd probably be more seriously hurt than you are now. She shook her head, looking to Saidin, then Bruno, finally Kwa. She looked back to Kota, yellow eyes burrowing into the femme, as she stepped near her. It's not your fault. Blaming yourself will just drag down your spirits.

Bruno's eyes widened at what Kota had said. He nodded his head as he was listenting to Snow speak about blaming herself and her spirits dwindling. With intent to push the voters, he stood strongly and boldly while he listened to the group. Suddenly, an overwhelming feeling poured over him. Who did he want to follow out of the group? Soon after he asked himself that very question his expression changed to some of suprise. He actually had no clue who he wanted to follow. Maybe he didn't want to follow any of them. That was it, he convinced himself. He didn't want to follow any one elses rule, but also was reluctant to start a pack on his own.
No words escaped from his respectfully dipped maw. He faced Snow and his eyes lit up, but still, no words where traded.

"No, not your fault at all," Saidin was quick to reassure, though he was a little perplexed at Kota's confession of taking off voluntarily. She couldn't still have been frightened by him, could she? He'd been so certain he'd convinced her he was harmless.... About to nuzzle Kota's prone form, offering a bit of comfort, he abruptly changed his mind and turned the action into an odd head-bobbing of sorts as he sat. "Though I guess no one should go out by themselves for a while, until we figure out how to take care of Sweeper." His gaze flickered curiously to the red wolf that had followed Bruno to the group, then away. "And I guess we'll also need to find a place to stay that can hold all of us, if we're not going to go our own ways. Or dig one, maybe." Rising quickly to his paws, he was prepared to immediately begin either searching or digging– though the latter would probably be less fun, he had to admit.

Bruno was quick to reply, "Uhh, yeah, about that..." He rolled his eyes sarcastically then to speak again, "I'd rather house alone, or at least not with you two love-sick pups." He stood back up ready to leave the group. They all seemed as if they had their own plans. Bruno indeed did. "Listen, I already had a home, but seems Sweeper's scent is breeding down there. So I guess I'm just screwed out of that home, and I'm going to become a full-time nomad. Wow guys, this is awesome." His sarcastic humor was bothering himself. He turned away from the group as he spoke so the wind would carry his words, "If anyone feels safer with me, or whatever, feel free to just follow along. I am a protector, remember?" He laughed lightheartedly and moved eastward.

Her head turned quickly towards the brute, taking quick offence to his mannor. The wolves around her, including herself, had done nothing but show gratitude towards each other. So what was with his behaviour? She had quickly forgotten about her troubles, and she soon gave voice to her thoughts. "These wolves have done nothing but treat you with respect. How dare you treat us any less- just like-" She snarled, holding her tongue before she could mutter the last few words. She had risen to her paws, but shakily. Was her health any better, she would have nipped at his flank in anger. "What have any of us done to deserve that?"

"Lo-" Love-sick? Pups?! Saidin's expression crinkled as he stared after Bruno, momentarily shocked into inaction. He gaped alternately between Kota and the departing male, his fur rising slightly in response to the fury emanating from the young femme. "H-hey, easy. Watch your shoulder," he cautioned Kota, gaze flickering to her scabbing wound. Turning toward Bruno, the dark-pelted wolf dashed after him, circling to stand in his path. "Hold on a minute!" Saidin exclaimed. "Who says you have to leave? We won't be safe if we split up. Besides, how could you possibly keep anyone else safe if you were constantly looking over your own shoulder? Just give this a chance! ...won't you?" Though he was trying hard not to show his uncertainty, to sound decisive and sure of himself, Saidin was almost postive he was as transparent as- as the wind.

A snarl rose as Saidin ran after Bruno, STOP IT. Now. All of you. Especially you, Bruno. I don't know what you think you're saying. And Saidin, let him go. Don't waste your energy on petty comments and remarks. If anything, one big den together wouldn't be very smart. If Sweeper gets enough people, he could corner us in there, and while we'd have an advantage, it would still be foolish. I say two caves, divided by whatever. I don't know what's going on between Kota and Saidin here, but either way. Gender, or whatever. I really don't care, as long as I can be left alone. Sweetsnow said quietly. Out of the group, she'd taken favor to Kota. The way she went about doing things was the most sensible. Saidin was quick to react, and Bruno... was harsh. Sweetsnow turned to glance at Kota, noting her injury. Two dens, that way, if one gets attacked, the other can attack Sweeper and whomever is following him from the rear. And the ones in the cave can attack from the front. Or the others can get help. He takes out the weakest first, as I've told you, so strength also needs to be taken into consideration when we pair off. Kota is hurt, my own shoulder is still sore, from traveling. Saidin and Kota could have a cave, and I and Bruno. Putting Kota and I alone in a cave of our own would risk both of us. We're both injured. She said, auds flicking towards Bruno, then back to Saidin. She sprang up, padding between the two. And stop bickering. She glared, to both of them. She then looked to Kwa. As for you, I'm not sure we've meet.

Watching the beginnings of a fracas in the making, he thought about creeping away. Bruno's sudden change in mood was rather alarming. What could have caused such a change? Could it have been something to do with the mention of grouping together? That's when it seemed to start... In his opinion, it would have been nice to have some protection, but, Bruno did have a point... Could any of these people really be trusted? Or was the whole fight he had barely heard been a cleverly thought out plan?
Then again, there was little choice. These wolves probably knew more about this place than he did, and it could be useful to stay and shelter in with them. But who knows? Perhaps they might all be horrible monsters in disguise. But that was silly, and he chuckled to himself.
But then he returned to the real world, and, still sensing tension in the area, and began to slowly creep away, when he was suddenly addressed by Sweetsnow. "Er... No, you haven't met me... I'm kinda new here... I'm Kwabangul... Mhm..."
