As Bruno arrived in the area, he periodically stopped to sniff the air, checking again for more scents. Approximately three wolven have roamed past, maybe even a wandering fourth had passed through previously. He stuck his nose towards the ground and moved simultaniously with the movement of the former passerby's; eventually his attention span could no longer keep up; the trail was lost and he stopped infront of the multiple dens.
He wasn't interested enough to actually investigate the dens. He wanted nothing to do with already-set alliances since he didn't have one himself.
He watched as the sun heated the meadow and life began to awake. He sat back on his haunches and waited to see if anyone was around. He fancied a meal, but not till later. Possibly hunt with another wolf to catch a larger prey...

Saidin hesitated in his tracking as he caught another whiff of the wolf he was following, this scent fresher but not along the trail he was currently preoccupied with. Well, he reasoned, he didn't really need to know where the other had been, he needed to know if the wolf had encountered Kota. Instantly veering off his current trail, Saidin bounded through the trees to the more recent one, and quickened his pace until he was racing through the high grasses, a large silhouette hurtling across the meadow as if gravity had no hold on it. Even if he hadn't seen Kota, perhaps the other would be willing to help find her? Saidin winced, that would make him look pretty silly if nothing was wrong... but he'd found blood! Yes, an infinitesimal little drop, he reminded himself. But blood is blood, and you saw her, she was exhausted!! Why disappear like that? Maybe she doesn't like you. Saidin stumbled at the thought. Impossible! Kota had to just, be... out hunting... Leaving an easy meal behind in the den? ... or, exploring... When we were going to do just that together, later? ...or finding something to drink, he didn't know! Shaking his head, Saidin hurried on.

The loner trotted swiftly through the terrain, thoroughly enjoying herself. A few days back, she had met with the most idiotic pack of wolves, and it was so much fun to taunt and tease them... she grinned, recalling it. They tried to attack her, and left quite a few deep wounds, but it was worth it, for those first few minutes. Their facial expressions! Frowning at her hind leg, which was covered in scars, but didn't hurt as much as the one just behind her ear. "How does that work? Maybe they killed all the nerves," she speculated, letting her mind wander back to the other wolves again. With another grin, she shrugged. "They'll heal, it doesn't matter-" she paused, forefoot raised, when she spotted Bruno. Narrowing her dark-yellow eyes at him, she tilted her head, and sat down, letting him acknowledge her first, for she couldn't think of a clever and witty greeting.

Hearing frantic footfalls abuse the ground she turned, eyes widening in interest. "Where's the fire?" she asked as he sped by her, turning slightly to look at the worried wolf. She could smell the fear on his scent. Rolling her eyes, she dropped to her stomach to wash her dirt-caked body. She hadn't encountered a lake yet, nor a river, so this would have to do. Plus, it would give her an excuse to not talk to the other wolf until he acknowledged her. Unless she had something sarcastic, witty, clever, or other along the same lines, she remained quiet until she could recall a perfect thing to say, which she usually can, if it was a good day. On a bad day, her insults weren't as... insulty, and her sarcastic remarks just sounded weak. On those days, she commited herself to hiding in a whole and dreaming up sarcastic remarks for random situations. Not really, but she really thinks she should next time she thinks of saying, 'Your grandmother was a squirrel and your grandfather was a pig!' That was... yes, she'd rather not even think about it right now.

Kwabangul snuck through the meadow, keeping low to the ground. Although he would eventually be found out, he didn't need that to happen just yet. He still had not met a single other wolf in this area, but it wasn’t that big of a deal for him. While didn’t object to meeting new people, but he just didn’t feel like it right now. He was searching for food at the moment, and didn’t need to be distracted the trees were nice, but he was constantly searching for a path around them, for both escape and easy prey hunting. He could hear many small animals around him, but, as he couldn’t see any directly, he decided to leave them alone. Suddenly, the smell of water reached him. One might wonder what water smelt like, but, it was a fresh scent, maybe with some rotting leaves or other fresh plant matter floating about. He hadn’t seen much water, and wondered if this could be a potentially good drinking spot. The majority of the water he had been drinking was small trickles and dew off of the early morning leaves. Since entering this forest, Kwabangul had had little trouble staying alive; there was enough fresh meat, and, while he was often thirsty, he could usually find a small puddle if he really needed the water. He breathed deeply through his nose, first in, then out, in, then out, for several second, just absorbing the water smell. Particles of dust floating about in the air rushed into his nostrils causing him to sneeze. Deciding he had breathed enough air, he set off to find the water source.

Bruno's eyes where at first unfocused, then sharpened to see a female relatively close by. He didn't pay much mind to her suprisingly, he just looked at her, nodded his head and didn't move. Obviously this wasn't her land for she would have come toward him with threat in her eyes. Then his eyes focused even more to reveal one of the smells he had previously encountered- a rather quick male.
Bruno was extremely confused. The male was charging toward him, but not in a threatening manner. He assumed the land wasn't his either. With questions on his mind he moved towards the female covered in dirt. (Amira)
"Whoa, what happend to you?," he chucked to himself as he stared at her while she cleaned. Trying to be informal he sat on his hind and lifted an eyebrow, "I'm nobody important, but I'm called Bruno." He hestitantly thought of a way to ask her of her name, or her 'calling', but nothing came to mind. "They call you....?"

"Names Fox Feces, pleased to meet you," she chirped, still cleaning herself. "The foxes decided that I didn't live up to the name they gave me, so they tried to kill me. I just ate them. Ate them all up." She grinned at Bruno sadistically. "Bruno, eh? I assume you don't own these lands. If you did, you'd be a very poor alpha. No scent markings or anything, and you hardly act dominant. No, I do say you wouldn't be able to earn these lands," she smirked again, then raised her eyebrows. "If your going to curse me, you may at least use my proper name. It's Amira, and I won't tell you twice." Returning to cleaning her back, she felt like she had done a decent job today, although it definitely wasn't her best day today.

Instead of trying to fight back he agreed with what she had said, "Nope, not my lands or I would have killed you, I just sleep in a cave, all alone... with nobody else but myself and maybe a dead animal or two." Her sarcastic manner was slightly misleading to Bruno; he wasn't sure if she was trying to be defensive or just plain rude, but he honestly didn't mind it. "Love the attitude by the way, it's getting you really far." He rolled his eyes and stood up to make a slow disappearance without saying anymore to her.
As he removed himself from conversation he lifed his head to see many other wolves finally emerging. He just watched as he slowly retraced his steps back towards his large empty den. All the wolves where making him feel congested.

She shrugged. "Get's me as far as I want it to," she responded, really not caring if he stayed or left. Her body finally clean into the snowy-white it was before, her dark-rimmed eyes glanced around, before she stood up carefully. "And this is where I take my leave. I bid you adeu, creature, and you have fun with your animals," she grinned yet again, and tilted her head, thinking about what he said. "And no duh your alone, your a LONER you moron," she muttered under her breath, before turning and heading down to the lake.

The unexpected surprise of seeing the snowy wolf, without even scenting her first, and the turmoil of his thoughts caused Saidin to shoot right past the two loners before he could stop. Panting lightly from his exertions, Saidin slowed and turned back in time to catch the exchange between Amira and the wolf he'd been tracking, Bruno. Head swivelling almost comically back and forth between the caustic white wolf and his retreating target, Saidin shot Amira an innocuous grin before padding quickly after Bruno. "Hey, uh, Bruno?" He called once he was close enough to speak in a normal tone with the other. "I was wondering if you could maybe help me with something? It's quick, I promise, I was just... how long have you been here? Not necessarily here here, just...here?"

Amira rolled her eyes. "Someone has a way with words," she muttered, before returning his grin with a smirk of her own. Actually, now that another subject showed up, she might stick around a bit longer. Sitting down, she merely watched him, not hiding her stare or her open listening. Why try to hide it? It'd just make her seem like a coward, which she definitely was NOT, or so she told herself, and rather retarded when they caught her eavesdropping. So she did it openly, thus seeming arrogant, but it was unavoidable. Offering her own little commentary, not loudly, talking to herself again, she started with, "As the wolf began to walk away from the lovely maiden, he was stopped by a rather frantic, wild-eyed wolf. It asked him a rather redudant question, though it seemed important, so the lovely maiden listened to see if she could... help. Of course."

Bruno was quick to reply to the male but not the answer he was looking for, "So, you don't own this place either? Hmmm." He kept walking at a slow pace away from his newly found 'friend' Amira. His paws stepped lightly on the terrain and he kept his eyes towards the ground. "You know my name obviously, your name would be nice- but I've been here for about a moon and half, why? And who are you so intently searching for because you most likely won't find them... it took me a while just to find that thing over there (amira)." He was stern but was finally excited to aid another wolf, "Look, I don't mean to be a jerk or anything, I'll help you of course." He nodded keeping his lowly lit eyes to the ground.
He turned and shouted to Amira, "Nice to meet you Amira," and returned to speak with the male.

Amira shook her head. "I'll never understand why wolves will still try and be nice to me when I am so callous to them. Ah well, makes my job even more fun. Maybe they think they can find the 'goodness in my soul' or whatever. Idiots these days," she snorted, standing and trotting away, bored with her commentary, and now that the other wolves were farther away, she couldn't hear them. She didn't know where she was heading next, but hopefully it would be someone that had wolves more goadable and more interesting than these. She smirked devishilly, and began her journey.

"Oh, no, I haven't been here for very long either," Saidin hastily reassured the other wolf, for the most part ignoring Amira's distracting presence save for an occasional ear twitch when she muttered something. "Right, right, my name- ah, I'm Saidin." He accompanied the introduction with another wide grin and a quick sweep of his tail. Taking in the rest of what Bruno was saying, he grinned and tried to shrug it off. So what if he was focusing a bit much on Kota's disappearance- she'd been plastered to the forest ground hardly able to move for hunger and weakness when they'd met. A scant moon or two later he was supposed to ignore the fact that she'd up and vanished? Besides, once he had an idea or set task that felt right, he tended to pursue it with almost single-minded intensity. "I was really just wondering if you'd seen a friend of mine... you passed by pretty close to the den we were napping in, so I was hoping– her name's Kota? Grey wolf, dark fur around her head and ears? It's just, she wasn't in the best shape last I saw her, and we haven't really gotten a chance to explore this place yet, so I have no idea if there's anything around that could, well, you know...." His ears crumpled back momentarily against his skull at the thought. "So, have you seen her?" He asked brightly.

"Dark ears, dark hair around her head and ears eh?.... uhhh...." He stopped his sentence just to see the look of his newly found friends reaction from his sarcasticness. "Haa, just kidding." Bruno's intentions to lighten up the wolves mood seemed to do no good, so instead of blabbing on he continued, "About your friend, Kota, no actually, I haven't seen her. Is she in trouble?"
His ears perked up. "Can't hear anything, don't know what she smells like, but I do know what she looks like.... Hm, looks like you'd better lead the way then huh?" His intentiveness was growing quickly as Bruno began to lightly nudge Saidin to give him the reply of him beginning to choose a direction.
