Aztec;; The brute's expression became quizzical as Bruno spoke, saying so many different things he almost didn't follow. He was quick enough to reply to the question that had been directed at him. Aztec. He reminded Bruno quietly. Orbs flickered as he watched how Bruno spoke to Snow, curiousity lighting them up. He turned, to give Kota and the Alpha privacy, going to sit at the bank of the small body of water, tail swishing behind him as he did so. He dropped to the ground with a grunt, stirring up dust as he did so.

The calm tone she discovered in Bruno's voice as he spoke broke down any nerves or fear that arosed with his demand to 'talk'. Regardless of her new found, temporary, comfort with the Alpha, she was careful of her posture and words. Infact, she had refused to speak until he was done expressing his own concerns. Her maw dropped as she spoke- as she thought was right to show respect- ears falling back with the slightest of dips. "I do focus on the pack.." With the nudge of her shoulder, she found it hard to resist the temptation to nudge him back in a playful fight, ears lunging forward and that sparkle momentarily returning in her eyes. After all, she was naught but at the edges of being a pup herself. Her paws shuffled across the ground as she controlled herself and readied herself to speak her concerns. Whereas she wanted to fully explain herself, her nerves- which had began to flare once again- got the better of her. "I just don't trust him.. He could be Sweeper's aid, and he's here."

His focus still on Kota, "I am completely aware of that [looking after the pack], yet you do speak of a good point-- this new wolf posing a threat..." He nodded agreeingly as his eyes rolled to check on the new wolf. A snuff let out from his nostrals as he respectfully dismissed himself from the conversation with Kota and padded toward the group. His tail was standing erect as to state his dominance. "Do you know of Sweeper, and where he resides?" Bruno shook his coat free of resting dirt and debris, gave a good stretch, and sat with the pack to hear further ideas on the Sweeper issue.

Snow;; Snow's orbs followed Bruno and Kota as they padded off, yet the conversation was brief, and seemed to be of Aztec. She turned, tongue lolling out as she shuffled to Bruno's side, auds perked with interest. Either Kota or Bruno seemed to have expressed interest in the brute's knowledge of Sweeper, something she hadn't thought of herself. She was glad that Bruno had been chosen as Alpha, he was well fit for the job. She found herself staring at the brute, and the close proximity shocked her. Surely she hadn't meant to sit that close. She edged away, pretending to have an itch on her shoulder she needed to get to, hiding the dazed look in her orbs. What confusing emotions. She busied herself with the nonexistent flea. Aztec;; He turned as he was addressed, his facade showing confusion. Should I know him? Something about the name caused him to glance around, as if the wolf were lurking in the shadows, listening. He shook off the feeling and looked back at Bruno, glancing to Snow for a brief moment. The sun was playing in their pelts and made them seem... mystical? It was just the way they were sitting. If I should, I'm sorry, but I've never heard of the brute. My apologies? He heard how unsure he sounded, and flattened his ears, lowering his dial in a respectful manner, glancing to all of the pack members.[/center]

Saidin rose and moved closer to the others, intentionally seating himself between Kota and Aztec. It really wasn't good for the young fae to be so nervous and tense all the time. She needed to relax, and while Saidin lacked many skills, perhaps this was one lesson he did know how to teach. "It's good you haven't met him before," he informed the brute lightly with an abrupt switch of his focus, "but since he's creeping around here somewhere you should be warned." The black wolf's ears sank back against his skull briefly, expressing his distaste in the subject, before springing erect once more. He'd have preferred staying out of this particular, unsavory discussion, but since it seemed to be a pack affair he might as well participate. Better by far than being left out of it, he supposed.

Bruno snuffed loudly before he spoke about the lurking rival, "Keep on your toes about that one. He's nobody you want to even begin to have a relationship with, so if you see him or his buddy around- come find me." He then gave a tip on how to distinguish him, "You'll know who he is by his rotting corpse stench, and his dope of an accomplice." His nose crinkled at the very thought of the aroma evaporating off Sweeper's disgustingly filthy coat and into his nostrils.
Turning to Snow and the others he smiled, "It's just about sun down, anyone up for a drink before I return to my cave for some rest?" Bruno let out a small yawn as to signal it was time for the day to end and everyone to go their seperate ways until tomorrow. His pelt now warn, his eyes now dull from exhaustion. He wanted some time to himself if possible, as if he needed time to think about what the next move for the pack would be. Face the menace and his Blind friend... or live around them like magnates that are opposites....?
His tail swished as he initiated the walk toward the sound of the calming water.

Aztec;; The brute looked up abruptly as the wolves warned him, raising a brow. His maw parted to ask a question about the mysterious wolven Sweeper, but stopped himself, saving the question for later. He yawned, shaking his head to reject Bruno's offer, glancing into the distance. I prefer to sleep in the open. He said quietly.
Snow;; She padded towards the body of water, her tail swishing beside her. She'd barely heard Bruno's words, she was lost in thought. She raised her cranium into the air and inhaled deeply as the wind hit her face, blowing very strong scents toward her and allowing her to know what was around her. She lowered her head back towards the ground, her tongue flashing out 'tween sharp teeth to lap up the cold water..
ooc;; quick reply. talking to boyfriend and trying not to be too boring. very busy. failing some classes. bahhhhhhhh sorry

The dark wolf rose and leisurely stretched out, large pads spreading wide and pressing against the earth as he extended his body. Bistre eyes narrowed to slits for a brief moment, then Saidin was up and slowly following the alpha. He paused to address Aztec’s soft dismissal.
“You can sleep wherever you like, but- just know Sweeper… he’s a bit addled. Didn’t seem to care that we were all together when he attacked us with no one but his blind ally to help. He didn’t much care either when he ambushed a lone female minding her own business.” Saidin kept his yellow-flecked gaze on Aztec, but a note of distaste soured his tone when he referenced Kota’s attack, careful to avoid pointing her out to the other wolf. “You don’t have to den with us if you’d rather not- but think about picking someplace within earshot?”
Saidin smiled briefly, tail giving a few short passes through the air, before turning to the water, not requiring a response from the other male. Moving up beside Sweetsnow, he dipped his head and began snapping up mouthfuls of the cool liquid.

She has remained silent throughout their whole discussion, finding her worries releaved with her final admittance to Bruno... Yet she couldn't quench her fears or the nagging feeling she was so painfully aware in the back of her mind; something that refused to let her rest. Her maw shook wildly, ears falling to the back of her skull as Saidin spoke to the brute. At least she could say she was grateful for the lack of a pointing finger... Silently putting her worries to the throbbing pain in her shoulder, her maw snapped upward, locking onto Saidin's figure before following him quickly- as if his claim of staying alone for too long would happen so instantly.
And yet she hesitated, turning her maw to the new member of their pack... It seemed everyone had said something to him in some form of a greeting, yet she was the only one to stay back and accuse him of secret dealings with Sweeper. Her maw bowed as her direction changed, now facing the brute whilst keeping a good distance. Her mind struggled to find words, so she settled with the first thing that came to mind. ".. It's nice to meet you." Her ears perked forward as she spoke, her head remaining lowered with saddened eyes that only protrayed the guilt she felt. She waited seconds for a reply before a sudden realisation snapped back into her mind- Saidin was gaining a distance on them. Her maw snapped back in a flurry of panic, only to find the brute had stopped for the water. Worry settling back into her weary bones her maw turned back, her expression now somewhat serious and scared. "You should listen to what he says..." With that said her entire body turned, trotting to catch up with her pack mates.
