Twisting deftly out of the way of the downed doe, Saidin panted happily beside her stilling body. He glanced about, as if looking for someone to say "Hey, look what we've done!" The herd of deer had disappeared from sight, though- not that he expected them to appreciate the pack's success- and the only others he could spot were the wolves that had taken down the animal in the first place. Ah well. He'd just have to enjoy their triumph quietly... and enjoy it he would. The large wolf sniffed the steaming flesh visible through the rips and tears he'd created in the doe's thigh while attacking it. With a quick shake, however, he stepped back, well aware that he'd almost ruined their chance at such a rich meal. Turning toward Bruno, he was surprised to see the other brute had backed off as well. "Bruno?" He blurted, puzzled. The smaller male had essentially led the pack's hunt, had found and picked their prey, planned the attack... didn't he want his spoils?

Snow turned to watch as Bruno padded off, having jumped off the doe as it fell. Her eyes scanned the small pack, seeing that the strange male had left, and the female was hovering at the edge of the clearing, seemingly torn between the male and the pack. Snow then turned to look at Saidin as he called after Bruno. She was hungry though, and would not look heroic by putting off her hunger. Padding over to Kota, she nudged her, inviting the fea to eat with her. There was no Alpha, so she didn't think to mind any rules. She would eat, and encourage her friend to do so as well. The only restriction, she thought, was that the strange wolves, Aradia and Charlie, would have to wait, since they didn't help bring it down. She sprinted up to the carcass, sniffing at it carefully, leaving Saidin his bit of flesh. She took another leg, but it was slightly tough. Snow was so hungry she didn't mind. She tore at the flesh, and at the taste of blood, she had to continue. She had a small tummy- She never ate more than what would satisfy her gnawing hunger, and she finished quickly, looking up and licking her lips, audits flicking alertly.

OoC// I missed out. ;~; Damn infection.. I'm going to post leniently, so as I don't.. God mod myself into something I didn't do. o.o; Apparently, Kota didn't need Snow telling her twice and with just as much haste she dashed forward with Snow. She had never had any sense of unspoken rules, but the fea remained hesitant, parted jaws hovering over the flank of the deceased doe. And so she remained so, until Snow had taken the first tear at their fallen prey. Not that it took long. Her own pair of sharp ivory fangs tore into the meat, a wild thirst arising as the blood met her tongue; she hadn't realized how hungry she really was. She had managed to survive solely with the rabbits Saidin or Snow had killed, but it was nothing compared to the satisfaction of something like this. Her mind had turned, oblivious to what was going on around her. Her overall portion was around the same as Snow's as she finished seconds after the older female. She was young, and didn't have the stomach of a fully grown wolf. Not yet, that was. With a deep inner joy of having a full stomach, her tongue started on the tedious task of cleaning her maw, turning to Snow with the lust of blood still clear- although fading- in her eyes.
She'd had enough. Their organization.. Posture.. It sickened her. They held nothing that would enable them to survive out in this wild. No structure of authority. If a wolf could grin, a hefty grin would have appeared across the dainty female's maw. It would be interesting indeed to see these.. 'pack' dwellers survive in the coming winter. Without any further thought of action, the female rose to her paws. "There's nothing I can do for now to squeeze my way in.. Best to wait~" Her voice chimed, a nice strong wind carrying it away from the small pack below her. With that same wolfish grin, she turned her tail on them, setting off in w stiff jog. Soon, she though, soon...

Although the other wolves where concerned about Bruno's behavior, he stood patiently for all of the others to eat. He watched as the others spoke to him, but the words didn't seem to initiate any response from him. As he watched the others eat, he thought of how he felt. He glanced at Snow as she ate and he felt like he accomplished something. He then turned to look at Kota and a smile errupted on his face- then to Saidin and he nodded happily.
He paid no mind to the newer wolven simply because they hadn't helped bring down the doe. Bruno eventually slinked over to the deceased doe with his head low in thankfulness, he grabbed the doe's gut and pulled the skin right off of it. He chewed slowly allowing the taste to reach all of his senses.

Snow smiled at Kota, the food settling in her tummy and making her happier, less snappy, than before. In fact, she felt quite playful. She flopped onto her side and then rolled onto her back, before flailing about. She looked quite foolish, but she was having fun. When she was done playing around, she stood, shaking off her coat then bounding a bit towards Kota, then stepping back, audits pinned back but eyes glimmering. She growled playfully, sticking her rump in the air and wagging her tail about.
OoC;: I'm quite hyper and it seems to have rubbed off onto Snow. xD

Saidin gnawed on a thigh while the two femmes had their fill of the tasty belly meat. Kota really did need to be eating as much as she could, the large wolf mused idly while methodically relieving a bone of its pesky flesh. She seemed to have regained a lot of strength, but there was no substitute for a few good meals. With Bruno moving in now, the faes finished, he too edged closer to the belly– he wanted a few choice pieces himself. Of course, he did carefully give the other brute his space by choosing to dig into the opposite end of the deer, grey-speckled snout acquiring a ruby glaze as he tore into the soft, gently steaming meat of the doe's chest. Licking his maw as he finished, he cocked his head and examined the leg he'd been stripping earlier and decided he definitely wanted to have another go at that bone later. Snow's light growl drew his attention next, and with a gleeful, puppy-like yap he joined in the frivolity. A nimble leap sent him flying over Kota to land next to Snow, where he wasted no time in dropping his forelegs on her playfully-bowed back in an attempt to knock her over before she could regain her balance.
((You're not going to see Saidin complaining about that, Callie. =P))

As Bruno as well, wrapped up his feast he rose to his feet. The full-belly feeling was something Bruno had almost forgotten. His eyes fell harder together, signaling that it was much too nice out to not take a rest.
He, once again, turned away from the playful others and stood his distance. Under the shade of an older oak tree, he slid into a comfotable resting position. His paws crossed, a sigh crept out as Bruno shut his eyes.
Although it seemed he was passed out, he laid his head between his paws with his ears erect, listening to them enjoy themselves.

Snow let out a surprised yelp as she was attacked from the side, falling over in an undignified manner. Teeth snapped out, but purposefully missed Saidin's shoulder, as she waved her paws in the air. She was under him, her paws pushing up on his belly to attempt to lift him into the air. Pink tounge was lolling out of her mouth, her agape maw seemingly pulled into a smile. She wriggled now, rolling over and crolling from Saidin before whirling, tail wagging happily. She let out a joyous bark, stopping only to watch Bruno lie down, cocking her head to the side, before focusing on Saidin once more. Letting out another playful growl, she lept toward him, landing a couple inches away from his face. Letting her childs play take over, she whirled around, much like a dog would. She gently grabbed a hold of his ear, yanking it gently, before leaping back. She stumbled backwards, but managed to land on her rump. A look of surprise befell her face as she felt the ground collide quite roughly with her behind, and she looked to her bum, wondering what had happened.

The sun beat down on the young fae with an unrelenting glare, white spots forming in her vision as her muzzle slowly dropped back down to reality before her. It was true that Kota was ever becoming more comfortable with the ‘pack’, if one could call it so, but this comfort was fleeting. Although she was still considered young enough to be a pup, her playful attitude consisted nothing more but a swift stroll to Bruno’s location. Without so much as a wolfen sigh, her frame slumped onto the cool grass nearby the male which was sheltered by both sun and wind. It had been a good meal, she decided, but a filling one. And of course, the best thing to do after such a meal was to nap, even if it were shortened. So she did just that; hastily- before Bruno could strike so much as a conversation- her maw fell on her paws, nudging into the fur as she suited her position.

Lunging after Snow to pay her back for that tug on his ear, Saidin abruptly halted, a broad grin splitting his maw. Laughter burst out unrestrained as he caught a glimpse of her comically bewildered expression. Completing his intended attack before she could recover, he rammed into her side in a controlled maneuver, calculated to distract without harming. Twisting into the air, he let his weight tumble easily over her slanted back to the other side, where he quickly regained his balance. Black tail swishing through the air, he jumped away to circle, giving Snow a chance to recover while he glanced around for Kota. She was stretched out near Bruno; was she just going to sleep? When she could be joining in the fun? Grinning, Saidin dropped to his belly and began to slink towards the unsuspecting fae, Sweetsnow momentarily forgotten in his quest to bring Kota in on the playful game as well.

Snow looked indignant at Saidin's laughter, but laughed with him all the same. She snorted as he smashed into her side, then rolled over. She barely had time to fall before he was sprinting away. She yawned now, watching him crouch down and go for Kota. A nap looked good, but she was in such good spirits. She licked her chops, then looked around, going back to the carcass to sniff at it. It would do no good to waste it- She took a bite of what was left, which was a snack to a hungry wolf. She looked up to the others, then back at the carcass. She sat now, next to it, to guard it until the others were ready to go back to the den. Maybe they'd bring it with them.
