The fairly large brute followed the Protector wolf also known as Bruno, his head up but not to show dominance, just to take in the surroundings better and to see how they got here. Soon they stopped in front of a den with thorned vines covering the entrance, then a few wolves came out, a brute and two females. His soft yet deep chocolate colored eyes darted between them and he stepped forward a step or two cautiously "My name is Dusk, it is nice to meet you Saidin" he spoke to Saidin, his voice soft and friendly, then his eyes averted to the other two wolves. As he awaited to find out the females names.

She rose to her paws once more, maw turning towards the wolven she had scented earlier. She hadn't been able to tell Bruno's scent from the rest.. But it didn't matter. Her optics narrowed, her distrust obvious. "How long have you known these wolves, Bruno?" She called out to the brute, voice lined with doubt. She didn't wait long for a reply, for she knew the answer already. "You say you cannot trust us, after we fought together against.. Sweeper." She paused with his name, having to recall what Snow had said it was. "And yet.. Despite your trust for us- you can take in wolves just as suspicious as us?" A snort came from her maw, what little gratitude she held for the brute from their scrap with the Nightmare fading. Turning away from the small group- again, not even waiting for a reply- she lowered herself to creep forward into the den properly.
This was Kota.
Due to the circumstances, Saidin and Snow should consider themselves lucky. Never since she had left her disease invested pack had she ever gained trust on a wolf. Saidin and Snow had made easy work of her distrust.. But these wolves. Bruno especially... It wasn't a personal grudge. She just couldn't trust another as easily as she should. And this just happened to be the perfect example of that flaw. Her shoulder flared with pain as briars caught at the surrounding fur. Managing to ignore that pain, she crept through the remaining brambles and entered the den- a wolf styled sigh exiting her snout. She had listen to Snow.. Sort of.

Bruno snuffed air out of his nose, "They needed help, just as you did. I helped you, now I'm helping them. Who said I trusted them? You're being quite mislead if you think that. Don't be so jealous. " His sarcastic remark made him feel slightly better about Kota's personal attack on him. The idea of a female threatening the position he had aquired really bothered him. He turned to Snow, "You too hun," he said trying to understand why she was being so quiet. He was worried that she was unhappy. He lifted his head towards Kota as he spoke with a little harshness in his tone, "All right then, I guess you guys can continue to mingle with the others, I'm off by myself back to my den. There's tons of places to live around here, I'm sure you can find something." Bruno wanted the other wolven to find their own place to live- Plus, Bruno already felt an obligation to make sure his friend Kwa was safe.

An agitated pain cut through Kaia's gut at the femme named Kota's harsh words. She hadn't expected much more due to recent discoveries, however her dream of finding a new pack crumbling down was quite enough for one day. She took a tentative step forward, then straightened up and raised her head. "Excuse me," she began politely yet not weakly. "I give you my honest word that you may trust me. My sole reason for being on these lands is to find a new place to call home, with my brother. His name is Orion. Anything else you wish to know, I shall tell you. I've no secrets worth hiding." She loosened her soft orbs, glancing to all of the new wolves. "Of course I do not expect any of you to put any trust in me as of yet, for I would do the same in your position. I just want to try and reassure you, if at all possible." At the end of her quick speech, Kaia stepped back to finish her statement and redirect any eyes on her. A bite nipped her stomach and she realized for the first time she was quite hungry. That will have to wait, she thought.

Sweetsnow's auds flickered at Kota's speech, agreeing silently. She stared at Bruno, watching Kota as she disappeared into then. Auds fell back, flattening against her head, as she looked at Bruno hearing his words. Kota's right. What if they were posing as innocent wolves. Not that they aren't. I'm not attacking you, I'm just saying, what if they were with... him? Then they could go back to him and tell them where the den is. I'm tired, having just made a fool of myself, which is why I was silent. She stared solemnly at Bruno, then looked to Dusk and Kaia, auds raising to stare at them. Nice to meet you both. I'm Sweetsnow. Shorten my name as you wish. I'm sorry for the rude greeting, but as I've said, I'm tired. I shall further our acquaintances later. With that, she turned, feeling a little rude, nudging Saidin's shoulder as she passed him, communicating that she'd talk to Kota about everything. His worry for her touched Snow- he seemed to care, which was more than the 'feminist' fea could say for most brutes. She walked deeper into the den, ignoring the brambles and thorns that caught at her ruffled pelt. Her eyes adjusted to the dimness of it all, and she looked to Kota, wordlessly sitting down, her side pressed against the wall, enjoying the silence of the medium den. She felt safe- which was a lot for Sweetsnow to think, especially since there were strange wolves outside.

She laid, slumped against the floor. Anger of Bruno's responce rose her hackles, but she remained as she was. Her lips were raised in that of a slight snarl, tail curled in towards her body which flickered seldomly. Although, despite her anger towards the brute, exhaustion bit away at it. Slowly- but surely- the fae was falling to sleep. Her head turned, nuzzling into the ground into a more comfortable position. Auds flickered at the sound of another wolf; and her half-attuned sense told her it was Snow. A snort came from the young female, chest rising and lowering exageratedly. A growl came deep from within her throat, before speaking in a hushed mannor. "The day I'm jealous of a brute will be the day my head is dismembered.. By a long-ears." Her voice had followed through with the growl, but it was more of one of sleep than anger. Her position shifted again and her eyes- which had cracked open in reassurance of the owner of the wolf's presence- closed again with relished joy.

Saidin nodded back at Dusk and the fae who had yet to name herself, though she spoke of honesty. His ears flattened against his head at the heated words exchanged by Kota and Bruno. "Some 'family', huh?" He asked rhetorically in a low voice, reassured by Snow's touch as she reentered the den. Hopefully exhaustion was the only reason for Kota's cynicism, though he mustn't forget her initial wariness when the two of them had first met. It was a little sad to imagine she could think only ill of any wolf she encountered before getting to know them.... "Well, it looks like Bruno was just making sure you didn't wander off into Sweeper's jaws, but I'm afraid this den," he tilted his head to the bramble-covered entrance behind him, "isn't quite big enough for three wolves, let alone five or six. I was about to go see if I could hunt down any other suitable places around here, would you like to come with me? Three noses are better than one." Auds now pricked forward attentively, he turned an expectant gaze on the two newcomers, his tail a black flag that needed no wind to flutter gently in the air.

Kaia's auds flicked as she watched Sweetsnow melt into the cave after Kota. Something about this Sweeper was clearly quite devastating, 'less all the wolves here were just naturally paranoid. She made a mental reminder to dig up whatever information she could later, when there was time and safety. The fae's mind had wandered aimlessly, though one of the wolves began talking to Dusk and herself. Saidan's words brought her back to consciousness. "I do not remember if we've been introduced," she began. "Though I would not mind trying to find a place to rest. My name is Kaia."

Sweetsnow smiled slightly, lieing herself down, makng herself into a compact looking fuzzball. She sighed, speaking through the fur that was tickling her nose. Bruno just needs some experiance. He doesn't seem to know how to act with people who don't trust him, even though he himself doesn't trust us. He'll learn, or he'll perish, be driven out... That's how life in packs go. Snow said quietly. Supposed to go, that is.

Dusk's auds were trained to the words of the other wolves, then pirking his ears to the female wolf that he had seen and had been lead by bruno, The Protector with, to find out that the female's name to Kaia. A smile spread across his maw as he finally got the name of this female in particular. He then remebered and caught the other female's name as well, snowpea was her name. He then spoke his voice was soft as velvet and lightly accented by and unknown origin, though it sounded kinda English. "Well it is nice to meet you all, And I will asure you my sister and I are not any kind of a threat to any of you." then his attention went to Kaia His voice seemed to soften a bit more when hie spoke to her though "Miss Kaia it is nice to finaly know your name" a slight chuckle excaped his maw as he heard himself speak.
