Paws lifted excitedly, the prospect of 'well deserved' rest the only thing that drove her forward. She knew she was rushing ahead, but it was like Snow had said eariler- she doubted Sweeper would show his demented face around here, at least not for now. So she decided she was safe enough to wander~. Every so often she would pause to rest her quivering muscles- excusing it to let Saidin and Snow catch up- and lift her muzzle into the air to catch the scents that drifted with the breeze. She had caught nothing, but it was best to be wary to some extent.. Right? It wouldn't be long before the bramble den would come in view, and with each passing second, she seemed to lose what was left of her energy, as well as gain some from someplace hidden inside of herself. It was the strangest feeling she could ever say she'd experienced, but it wasn't neccessarilly bad- she could was learning her limits. Soon deciding that the pair had caught up enough (or that she felt rested enough), she started forward again, unrelenting now, not wishing to stop once more until she reached the den.
OoC// Rush.. Really sleepy myself. xD;;

Sweetsnow had gone slow at first, thinking that Kota would want to go at a slow pace, but the femme was rushing ahead, stopping to let Saidin and Snow catch up. She rushed up, falling beside Kota. You don't have to rush, you know. She said quietly, crown low, ears tilted down. She meant no harm to either Kota, nor Saidin. Of course, she didn't expect them to trust her, but she wanted them to feel okay. She didn't want Kota to collapse. She had a fondness for Kota, for some reason. Audits flicked angrily as she realized why. 'He was a bastard anyways.' She thought, pushing the thought of the crimson brute out of her mind, and falling slightly behind Kota, as she struggled with her thoughts, before she shook herself out of them, and caught up with the fea once more. She craned her neck to glance back at Saidin, then looked back at Kota.

Her pace faultered and her maw lowered, her sides inflating and deflating too quickly. Her head spun and she felt, for a brief moment, that she was so tired she could sleep with the definition of hell itself; Sweeper. Stiffling a yawn, she slowed her pace and looked back to the fae. "I'm fine." She barked. It sounded forced, even to herself. But she chosen to think otherwise. Determined not to give in to her exhaustion until she reached the Bramble den, her optics narrowed. The den was in sight, now. Distant, but still in sight. Her tail twitched and her paws danced across the ground, turning to face Snow. "We're here!" A toothy grin formed on the young female's muzzle and her auds flickered forward quickly, now sitting upright.

Saidin frowned- an expression that quickly disappeared– and lengthened his strides to keep up with Kota. "You really make a guy work, don't you?" He asked in a faintly teasing tone, huffing exaggeratedly. "First I wake up and run all over the place trying to hunt you down, then we have that little rumble back there, and now... do you ever slow down?!" Tail swishing jauntily through the air, it was a little obvious the wolf wasn't really tired, but he could see that Sweetsnow's approach hadn't exactly worked... so why not try this one? "Really," he continued, head swiveling to Snow. "You'd think she'd be the one working to keep up with me, not the other way around!" Returning his gaze to Kota, Saidin grinned, his eyes gleaming playfully.

Her paced slackened only slightly as her head turned, gaze flickering back to Saidin as he spoke. "Unknot your tail and hush your chops~" She retorted, her grin holding as she repeated a phrase her mother used to say when she had gotten whiney. Her head turned back and her tail swayed for a brief moment. "It just means you haven't worked hard enough- trying being chased by a maniac!" But finally, despite her words of 'wisdom', she finally slowed her pace to a slow trot. They were there. Hesitating, she held herself back from rushing into the den, allowing Snow to peek in if she so wished. Her muzzle turned, regarding the older female. Her head tilted into the direction of the brambles and her chops opened to speak. "Over there- behind the brambles." And with that said, she slowed to a stop, maw remaining open as her pink tongue lolled out in a heavy pant.

Snow smiled at Kota's remark, falling behind the two. Audits flicked forth as they neared the den, passing Kota, crania lowered, tail wagging slightly behind her. She padded forth, cautiously, pushing past the underbrush, and the brambles, making sure not to break any foliage. She didn't want it to be apparent that there were wolves inside. Surprise leapt through the femme as two dirt colored rabbits squeaked, leaping into the air and past her. As one of the startled rabbits past, Snow caught her senses and then turned. Pain stabbed at her scar as she did so, causing her to let out a yelp. She fell, but managed to get a swipe at the rabbit, knocking it towards the other two. Embarassment fluttered throughout the femme as she sprung up, shoulder throbbing with the aftershock. She gritted her teeth as the rabbit she had knocked about tried to scramble up to it's feet.

Snorting with laughter, Saidin hurried forward. "I think I'll pass on the chase for now. You'd probably have as much luck in catching me as a joint-weary elder!" Maw parting in an impish smirk, he brushed past her to pull aside a few of the thorny vines to let the two faes pass. Before he could do so, Sweetsnow was already nudging her way through. Poking his head through the brambles to comment on the den, Saidin froze in surprise at the spectacle inside. Oh, right... they had warned Snow about the rabbit hole inside, hadn't they? The fae's pained yelp shook him into action, and Saidin leapt into the den after the rabbit Snow had trapped away from its escape route. Heedless of the brambles trying to snarl in his coat, he focused on the prey scrabbling for a foothold. A snap of the jaws, a sharp, quick shaking with his head, and the rabbit stilled. "Right," he said, gently tossing the limp body to Sweetsnow. "Did we mention the dine-in service?"

As Snow and Saidin trotted forward, Kota placed herself flat against the ground finding little strength to hold herself up any longer. Her panting remained heavy, but her tail swayed weakily behind her. She had begun to doze, lightly if at all. Although, she was soon snapped awake by Snow's yelp. Her gray and oddly blue tinted optics were wide with fear and confusion and she had soon started to rise to her paws. As realisation struck, she faultered and lowered herself back to the ground as Saidin spoke. Her auds flickered back and a large snort came from her snout. Her own shoulder was paining her, and with the pace she had set early.. Well it had reopened the wound. Not that she had cared. With the snort, her maw cocked upwards into the sky, snout flaring. She swore she had just caught... Yes! There it was again. The smell of another wolf, and not far from the den. It wasn't one familiar to the fae.. But neither was it welcome. Not to her, at least. Scambling once again to her paws, she warily- but quickly- found her place beside Saidin and Snow. Her muzzle was low, as was her tail- almost tucked between her two hind legs. "Is the den suitable enough..?"

Cheerful expression fading as he saw Kota's submissive, almost defeated posture, Saidin immediately moved in a tight half-circle until his side was pressing up against the den wall to make room for her. "Kota? What's wrong?" Well that was a stupid and rather pointless question. The fae was exhausted and she'd somehow managed to get her wound bleeding sluggishly again, he noted. "Here, lie down..." He carefully moved forward to the entrance, gently nudging Kota to encourage her to go further into the den. "Snow can stay here with you and rest, if she wants," he glanced at Sweetsnow questioningly, "and I can go... uh, go." Unhurt, not tired, he wouldn't mind spending a few hours alone outside, scouting the area. That should have been taken care of almost right away after they'd found the bramble den, but earlier they'd both been weary and had needed sleep and later... it just hadn't gotten done.

Her maw lifted to gaze between the pair of them, remaining utterly silent as she crept forward with Saidin's persistance. She lowered herself in the corner- deliberately away from the mouth of the rabbit den- with a purposeful slowness. She still had dignity, even this far in the stages of exhaustion. Her head lowered and eyes closed involuntarily, readjusting her posture for a more comfortable position. With a sleepy whine, her jaws parted: "More wolves." For a spilt second she was worried for the fae and the brute; if they were like Sweeper then surely they'd have a hard time. For as far as she was aware, there was more than one... Her optics flickered open. She'd need to stay awake to help them.

A questioning howl was just outside the den, and it was Bruno. Scanning the surrounding terra his nose, found him exremely near to the den where Snow, Kota and Saidin must have been hiding out. The howl was a signal of new family that had entered the area, and he insisted that everyone know eachother so the wrong wolves don't get hurt. He barked playfully outside their den to give the new wolven an entrance. He yelped loudly, "We've got some company guys," he paused in wait to see one of the three's familiar faces peek out of the brambles. He could smell them quite easily since he stuck his nose through the enterance. "More to call family," he said as he turned his head to see the following wolves.

"Bruno?" Saidin asked Kota quietly, skeptical. If she'd scented Bruno coming- even with some new friends- it shouldn't have perturbed her so much, tired or not. Ears flicked to the den entrance at the slight disturbance there as Bruno shoved his nose between a few thorny strands, but his gaze was on Kota, trying to convey his wish that she stay put. Hopefully she wouldn't feel some crazy urge to prove herself or look strong and capable before the new family members Bruno was shepherding around. Collapsing in front of them would hardly achieve her desired goal, he figured. Tail dropping into a low, curiously friendly and unthreatening position, Saidin exited the den, his grey-splashed muzzle guiding his large frame safely through the vines. Halting just outside, the wolf greeted Bruno first. "Back so soon?" He wondered with an good-natured smirk before turning his attention to the two accompanying his friend. "Nice to meet you, I'm Saidin." His jaw parted in a cordial grin.

Meeting new people doesn't appeal to me right now. Snow flicked her tail, staring a Bruno, before turning to nudge Kota lightly. Will you come with me into the den so I don't make a fool out of myself because of rabbits? It'll give you a chance to stop acting like you're fine. A small smile showed a thin line of her glistening teeth, before she walked a bit into the den, looking back at Kota, only glancing at Saidin for a moment. And it's good to see you again, Bruno. She said quietly.

Kaia followed the Protector wolf, head low and submissive. Her eyes darted back and forth, taking in the surroundings. Friendly or not, this wolves were still complete strangers. Other than names, however. "Hello, it's nice to meet you," she smiled softly. The femme raised her head up. She was nervous, though didn't want to look pathedic. Kaia smiled warmly.

Snow turned to look at the fea, eyes narrowing as she took in the fea's posture- the way she stood, moved about. She seemed anxious, or something quite similar. She stared at her, before turning back to Kota, not allowing her maw to part, for words to flow out. Snow had developed a bad mood, due to falling over herself and sending pain flashing through her side. Her shoulder was still throbbing, but she didn't let the others on to the pain she was feeling.
