Tripled Manic State, Pads pushed into the soft soil, long since holding the decomposing parts of dead wolven, past. A smirk tugged the corners of my maw, as it always did. I had come across a deer, and slain it, the blood still all over my face and paws. It was delicious, the murder of an animal was all it took to excite me. Blind stood by me, faithfull as ever, gnawing on a bone. His audits were constantly flicking, trying to catch the noises of this new place.
Resonating Through Me... Blind had eaten his full, quite daintily, not getting a speck of blood on him. He was queer like that, I suppose. I snarled at the shadow of a hawk, flying over the afternoon sun. I was on alert- I wasn't sure if the colored-pelts here were so accepting of Albinos such as myself. I mean... they SHOULD be. I mean, come ON. I'm fricking gorgeous. Beautiful. Outrageously pretty. No one could deny that. I strutted about, as I thought about this, chest puffed out, auds standing, alert on my slender crania. [/i] Doctors Horrified,I stopped my strutting to listen for a noise, a movement of any kind. I heard something, or thought I did, and sprang, my nose colliding with the side of a large tree. Oww. I whined, with a sigh, glancing to Blind as he chortled. I sprang upon him, without warning, my teeth dangerously close to his jugular. What's so funny, dear Blind? I growled, my lyrics parting his fur and revealing his black skin. In utter disgust at his... unpurity, I got off of him, interupting his attempt at a reply.I'm Still Unsatisfied Blind was afraid of me, yet admired me deeply. I had told him a lie, saying that I saved him from the clutches of death, which had not yet taken his life, but had definatly claimed his eyeballs. He granted me his life, as he got older and wiser, claiming that he would protect me to his death. It was funny, because I actually ruined his life. When thinking of the whole thing, I burst out in laughter, as I did now, confusing Blind profusely. [/i] This Poison Has No Cure.My insanity, I thought of as a gift. It made me think clearer, and better. Who needed emotions, when you can have everything? With insanity, I knew I could have anything and everything. In the rare moments of clarity I have, I go into a rage, realizing that most of my plans are quite stupid, and will never work. During this rage, I usually end up injuring myself, or Blind. Most of time, thought, Blind took it.[/size]

Snout flared as the young gray wolf made her way through the forest. The smell of deer taunted the figure, always close but never in range. Not that she exactly planned to test her hunting skills that far, she noted with dampened hope. She took her time, strolling through the undergrowths and bushes that sprout like weeds themselves. Each smell was new to her, and she treasured each and every one. She regretted leaving Saidin the way she did; after how he treated her, he deserved a bit more respect that what she had shown him. But she had found the den for him, so she justified her actions with the gift of a place to sleep. Which was more than what she could say for herself. Her paws came to a stop, a breeze bringing her the news of something she'd had rather avoided; there was more than one wolf within the area. But she had already guessed by the way Saidin acted. She couldn't tell how far the scent came from- it was a strange smell. Almost as if it wasn't a wolf itself. So rather than trusting her innate instincts and following a different path, she chose her own path, following it with a bounce in her step.

Blind caught the stench of a vix at once, giving me a nod. I sniffed as well. It was faint, but I caught it as well, all the same. I sneezed slightly, my nose still irritated from the heavy impact it had had with the tree. Shaking my crania, I let out a howl, one that started off as a raspy bark, then gave way to a chilling wail, echoing across the lands. It fanned far and wide, bouncing on trees and creating little echos. I turned to Blind, and the brute seemed hesitant. Colored. He sighed, lightly, obviously not enjoying my rages. I narrowed my eyes at him, before wheeling around, to slash at a speeding rabbit. I struck it onto the ground, wounding but not killing it. I snarled, looking down at it as it rasped, trying to breathe. Go hell. It muttered, blood foaming from it's mouth as it tried to breathe. I chuckled, placing a heavy paw on it's chest, and grabbing one of the morsel's ears, and ripping it into ribbons. It screamed, gnashing it's teeth, beadlets of tears rolling down it's furry cheeks. I ran my maw down to it's tummy, then dug in with my teeth, ripping out organs and entrails. At first, it was still alive, but after a couple missing organs, it fell silent, blood spewing from broken vessles. I left it like that, turning away. I was too full to try to eat the rabbit; it had been a joke, a funny. Blind was regurgitating, sounding rather sick as he emptied his stomach. Gross! I told him, giving him a rough hind-kick into the stomach. He shuddered, head low. I swung my head, to scent the vix once more. Coming TOWARDS us. How wonderful. I muttered, lieing down in wait. [/i]

She was rather enjoying herself, save for the small tug at the back of her mind, constantly reminding her about Saidin. She had half a mind to turn back- maybe she'd be able to catch him before he woke and moved on. Suddenly, a feeling of regret begun to creep over her like a thick mist, starting in the midst of her stomach. Although, before she could plan on any final decision the howl burst through her auds, causing them to fall back against her skull instantly. Her whole body stiffened with the call. Every muscle urged to flee from whatever.. thing created it. Like the scent, it was different. A call she'd never experienced- a call she knew she'd never hear again from any other wolf. Her muzzle lowered to the grass stained floor, paws working in unison. Her whole body lowered, creeping through the foliage. The wind was in her favour, whereas curiosity was not. Maybe she could sneak there and back without being seen. No- not maybe. She could.

Her narrow frame had made no more than half the distance before a howl swept the sky around the entire forest. Auds lay back firm against the back of her skull, smirk vanishing. It was almost like a slap in the face- the taunting deranged howl that had drawn her in a near uncontrolable curiosity faded as soon as it arrived. Her fear, or simply put, lack of trust of the entire wolven 'cummunity' soon returned, driving her to think of what she was doing. The femme crouched low and still, almost as still as she could remember. The brute that had uttered such a howl was barely beyond the briars that lay in a tangled mess before her- and she was about to walk through without any source of common sense. Her maw shook quickly, hind paws already retreating down the mound of the slight hill. Tail resting between her hind paws, she urged herself to stay down untill she had reached the thinest of the foliage, before allowing herself to rise to the full extent of her height- and run.

I snarled, turning, pushing past Blind, roughly, leaving him behind. I heard him whine, moaning as he got up and tried to catch up with me. As the femme danced before me, running away, the world seemed to twist, the trees swaying. Of course, I knew this was simply a figment of my imagination- but it still confused me in many ways. I dashed through trees, not staying directly behind her, but always having an eye on her. I snarled once more, teeth showing. My tounge flashed out angrily, a couple times, in the way wolves often flash their tounges, and wrinkled up my nose, in a little, ugly snarly-frown thing. I grazed my shoulder on a tree, falling back slightly. I wasn't going to let this vix get away- oh, no no no. She wasn't an albino; I had seen her facade, her features. She was a colored. What if she was a spy?! I leapt at this, bounding with new speed. I was, of course, getting tired, but what was that to stop me?

Never before in her life had she run so. Her entire body strained with exhaustion, a much different sensation to that of starvation. Her muscles shivered with the sheer exertion of the exercise, covering ground that had taken her an entire morning to cross in but a few tens of minutes. Her chest heaved, tongue hanging from her jaw in a lazy fashion. It was time for a break. She wasn't far from the den herself and Saidin had 'claimed' (as such), but it wasn't close, either. Throughout the whole of her journey, she had thought nothing but the howl; Saidin's howl. Was he worried..? Angry? No, no... She didn't hear anger. Although... A small whine escaped her. If someone had run out on her after helping them... She'd probably be mad. Confusion! Why was she so worried about why a wolf cared? Never before had she- not once in her memories, no matter how hard she searched. But never before had she seen a wolf talk to a stranger as so. It wasn't something she was so willingly to admit vocally, but she was fond of him. His strange way of showing friendship had sparked a new hope in the young wolf, something she had thought she'd never see. She considered him a friend- someone she'd truly respect. Not because she was forced to, but because she chose to do so. And yet, despite her 'kindness', it wasn't something Saidin would ever find out. At least... Not for a long time. With this thought, her maw rose, muscles still shaking from her run. The encounter with the deranged howl was momentarily forgotten, as the young femme rose from her haunches, starting the rest of the journey in a slow paced trot. She'd allow her thoughts to mummble on, not really concentrating on a certain subject. This was how she travelled; paws barely lifting off the floor. It passed the time quicker.

She was tired, as was I. I hadn't run like that in years. It felt good. As I lost her, I plopped myself onto the ground, emitting another howl. This one was deep; a warning. Whoever had escaped him wouldn't manage it again. I snarled, remembering Blind. Oh-effing-well. He could deal on his own. Eventually, they'd meet up again. If the effing stupid canine didn't get killed, or go soft for some colored chick. I could imagine it: 'OH, Blind. I love you so. Let me lick your DISGUSTING eyes out, making sure not a speck of dirt bothered them." "Oh, honey-bunches-of-shit, please do, while I grovel at your feet, unable to see how fat and ugly you are, and how limp and stringy your UGLY COLORED coat is." -pup making-
... Ew. I nearly gagged at my own thoughts...
Blind stumbled about, whining as he looked about for Sweeper. He could feel where the trees were, with his hearing and his paws. He groaned as he tripped over a branch, falling onto his face. He felt so naive. Suddenly, terror struck his heart as he heard Sweeper's vicous howl. Had he caught the maiden? Poor gal. Wait... no, no. It was simply a warning. Blind stumbled up, sprinting off, misreading Sweeper's place, heading off in the wrong direction...
[[Gonna post him somewhere. -grins-]]

Her whole body froze, pelt shifting as a light breeze picked up. The new howl was a warning- there was no mistaking that. But it was also like a hunting call. Her suspended paw lowered to the ground, hind paws shifting across the ground as her body turned, facing the direction she'd run from. A hunting call... So they were after prey. A small smirk spread across her maw, shaking her muzzle. She was getting worried for no reason. Turning back around and beginning her trot once more, she thought back on the recent howl, planning to compare it to Saidin's. It was obviously a wolf.. And it belonged to the previous wolf. The strange one. A small shiver of fear passed through her; she felt sorry for whatever animal lay in his wake. And yet, it wasn't long before realisation hit her; why would a wolf howl a warning to his prey? She paused her movements, too deep in thought to concentrate. Did it mean it was meant for her...? Head turning, she looked back. She saw nothing, but it didn't take an experienced wolf to know that sight alone meant near to nothing. The wind picked up, blowing against her coat with a fearless passion. The wind... Fear struck, overcoming any logic or reason within that instant, acting as a new reserve of energy. Her paws left the ground in swift bolt, wanting nothing more than to be back in the dens safety, away from this wolf.
