Soft padded paws picked their way through the brush, the sticks and dry, dead leaves that had long since fallen. Tail swayed behind her, as she moved about, her motion fluid, quite similar to that of a feline. Audits flicked as she heard a handfull of howls attack the night's secludive silence, and a small snarl lifted her lips so that a small line of her teeth could flash, brighter than they really were due to the bright, yellowed moon. Orbs flickered up towards the large circle, hanging low and heavy in the sky, and she smiled gently, paws digging into the sand. Her smile was different now. It was forced. A white wolf had sat here, a moment ago, and now he was gone. Her nostrils stung with his stench, repulse attacking her bodess. She felt him, around her, her eyes now wide with inexperiance and confusion. She sat down, tail jerking eratically, as a cat's would, when hunting. Auds were pricked, alert, her posistion slightly crouched, her muscles were tensed, like she was about to go flying into the violent waves. Her eyes were fixtated on the glimmers of the sea, while the rest of her was on this brute. She felt the presence leave, her bodess nearly collapsing onto the sand. Whoever the wolf had been, he had left as quickly as possible, his receeding footsteps swift and loud. Aradia sighed, letting out a gentle howl, her arrogance replacing the fear that had held her for those brief seconds.

From a distance, he saw the outline of a wolf; gender was impossible to determine at the distance he was standing. Vibrating through the air was a new howl he hadn't heard before, somewhat feminine. His responce was a howl in return, rather smooth and reassuring. Charlie didn't want to intrude incase this territory belonged to the wolf, but the howl led him to believe that he/she didn't have a home either. He slowly approached the wolf with his ears perked and as if he 'owned the place'. He kept his maw to the ground as he noticed how small his footprints where for his actual height. He continued on his way trying to cover the foot tracks he was creating. As he moved toward the wolf, he realized it was just a lone female lurking around. He moved quickly towards her in a cocky manner. "From what area do you reside?" He was sort of shouting, but towards the end of his sentence it was more of a loud spoken word since he covered a lot of ground toward the fae. "I'm Charlie and I don't believe we have met before." His eyes where appealing and a shocking amber hue. His pelt was full of fluff, of a whitesh tone, because he was quite cocky with his exterior posessions.
He stood not too far from the female, expecting some sort of smartass remark from her, due to her being alone and not having any protection, atleast that is how many females would act at first meeting a male. His tail was darker; swiveling back and forth with curiosity for the female. His lengthy body shined under the full glowing yellow moon.

Her eyes narrowed, flitting to the male as he approached. His voice was too loud, too cocky. She took, tail jerking with unapproval. She reacted in the way he thought she would. She was, of course, self confident and quite foolish. But, being as cocky as he, she didn't care. Creamy pelt rippled in the wind as she looked to him, facing him full on now. Sneer was pasted onto her delicate features as she spoke. Not here. She answered his first question, her voice lowish, but still feminine. Slightly breathy. She stared at him as he came nearer. My name is Aradia. And you're right. We haven't met. She said, equally as quiet as before.

A childish smile escape from his maw as he watched the female become slightly aggravated. Suddenly his eyes turned dark with irritation and his voice sounded lower in recognance, "The pleasure is mine I suppose mrs." His tail flicked back and forth as if in an aggitated manner with the way the female was reacting. Her creamy pelt was quite distracting as it danced in the wind. He ruffled his fur to show his slight, almost, jealousy. He stopped his motion toward her and bellowed out a small playful howl. He still had yet to meet any other wolven in the area and this female was the least bit entertaining to him. As he lowered his head he once again howled playfully toward the moon. It was time for him to find a place to stay, but he preferred not to stay alone by himself. He needed someone to keep him company, yet he was clueless as to whom, "Do you know anyone around here yet? I'm pooped." Charlie had a unique look to him and it shown brightly this night, "I'm guessing you have quite an attractive mate since you are so incredibly good looking yourself." He blushed.

Her look grew softer, the sneer on her maw dissapearing as she listened to him, audits twitching silently. She sat, growing slightly dizzy as he howled, then spoke. She ignored his first pleasantry, not replying, then shook her head to his first question. She laughed lightly, I don't know anyone here either. I think I came across another brute, but he didn't seem right. A look of confusion sweapt across her features, before she righted herself, standing. Another dizzy spell attacked her as his compliment swept past her, the words confusing her. She sat down once more, hiding the tinge of pink that sprang up beneath her fur- though it was hidden by the fur itself. When she had composed herself, she looked back up, the sincere smile gone, in it's place a smaller smile was residing. Her voice was a little strangled as she spoke, she thought out each word before she said it. This handsome mate you speak of is non-existant. I haven't had any time to settle down with anyone- I've traveled so far that any hopes of a mate while venturing here were ditched long ago. She looked at him now, more carefully. Her yellowed orbs scanned over his bod, before coming back to his head, to stare into his eyes. Her tail had grown still, pressed against the ground and her hind. She heard a movement to her left, looking to see it was a crab, scurrying along beside her. She smirked lightly, watching as it sidestepped through the sand.

"Ahh so a lone female eh?" A small grin exploded into his maw and his black lips curled with curiosity. "Well, it's the same for me too. I can't woo a lady." Charlie chuckled softly as his head turned to admire the female. Her coat shined perfectly in his eyes. He felt as though some sort of electricity was buzzing through his body. "So I suppose you'd like to move inward to the heart of the lands to meet new wolven. I can guess I'm quite the boring one." As he lifted his head he noticed her eyes glaring into his, with glee he lowered his head to show her some respect. Soon after the awkward moment of their eyes meeting he saw her head move downward to catch the sight of a small crab like creature scurrying along the soil. 'Strange' he thought. Charlie wasn't firmiliar with small creatures like crabs, especially where he came from. His tail grew limp as he remembered how boring he was. To initiate movement, he walk away slowly expecting the female to catch up along side him to move to the heart of the land to meet new wolven.
ooc:// I really hope people start becoming active or there will be no other wolven for them to meet D=

You're not too boring. I've met duller characters. She said lightly, scanning him over as he walked towards her. Tail swished slightly as she stood, padding along beside him, keeping away from the crab, who was clicking his claws towards her. She flicked her auds. I don't know where anything is. It was a simple sentence, a little apologetic, in it's own way. She glanced to him, before slowing her gait, realizing she'd been speeding ahead.

Her comment warmed him and he moved closer to her. "Did you hear that?" An immediate halt proceeded his movements. Ears stood at the sound of an unfirmiliar howl. "That's one creepy tone," he continued, "think we should investigate?" His competative nature lead him to believe following the sound would lead to some sort of answer. Charlie nudged her to show security behind his questionable curiosity.

Badump. Her heart pounded at the sound of the howl, her eyes narrowing as it attacked her auds. She twitched as Charlie nudged her, staring at him vacantly before pushing the sudden rush that had come over her away. Her orbs seemed careful, like she was guarding something. I think we shouldn't find whoever made that howl. She said quietly, her eyes dancing from him to the distance. Her auds pricked as she strained to hear another howl, but nothing reached her. That's odd. No one answered. She shuddered lightly, paws shuffling under her slender body as she turned slightly to scan the land around them.

"Scaredy cat." he muttered lowly. Charlie decided to secretly listen to what she had to say, though act like he wasn't concerned with who made the howl. His body smoothened out as no reply was said. Heat thunder began to rumble in the distance, slightly irritating Charlie, yet too far to be coming their direction.. atleast for a while. "Shall we continue my dearest?" he tried to urge them to move faster and farther into the homelands. "I think our best bet is to find somewhere to hide before, and if, that storm over the horizon begins to tread this way..." his voice deep and almost song-like.

Her auds flickered as the thunder rumbled, her fur ruffling as she recoiled from the noise. Whatever you think. Her arrogance was dropped- the odd fear that had crept into her insides clenching at her stomach and giving her a feeling that was quite like being hungry, only she wasn't. She shuddered lightly, unconsiously moving slightly towards the male, falling into step with him. [/color]
