"I agree Kota." He felt that Kota was being genuine about the hunt. It wouldn't be fair to leave the one Sweeper wanted last time alone by herself to be watched by another female. Sweeper would destroy them, but if the group carried on and stayed together he had no chance. He turned to view Kota, her image blurry then sharpened, "On one condition. We can't run from him forever or he will steal the lands right from underneath us, then we will all be homeless--- again." He sighed, his stomach grumbling for food as well. Maybe this was a chance for him to make up for his previous hurt toward the pack, yet Bruno was baffled by the emotions Kota sent his way. He wasn't sure why he felt his guard must stay up when around this female, but something told him to keep on his toes. All in all, he wanted to make it up to her and hopefully build some kind of friendship or alliance with her and Saidin. He was positive that they where an asset to the team and the thought of them turning on him made him uneasy. "Shall we go then?" He snuffled.

His words of action unnerved her, but she said nothing. Instead she basked in her own silent gratitude. Her head dipped, eyes closing as Bruno's words echoed in her mind like a swarm- and of course he was right. They couldn't keep running, but not just because of their land. But because they couldn't stay alert forever.. Or together. There could and would be any moment in which Sweeper could advance on the pack, if that is what the little gathering could be called. Giving herself a few moments to collect herself from the current events (as well as her own thoughts) she lifted her muzzle once more, a reluctant yet forced smile lifting the corners of her maw.

Snow bristled unintentionally, turning to the group. The monster he traveled with was at one time my son. She said quietly, head low and body tensed. The stress that they were being tested with was finally getting to the normally collected fea. If you haven't forgotten. Look. I guess we should all go. But when we get back there could be an ambush. We need to, after hunting, get ourselves established! She sounded strained, her voice a tad higher than normal. An Alpha. A plan. She moaned, her voice taking on a begging tone. She couldn't think of a way to stress it to the others that they needed to collect themselves.

Saidin's ears flattened against his head in distaste. Alpha talk. Hadn't they been functioning reasonably well so far without any of that? The large wolf repressed a sigh; Sweetsnow was right, however much he may not like it. If they were to be a pack, they did need a hierarchy. That was just how things went. Not to mention the bramble-den, while nice, was too small to accommodate them all. Would Bruno's find be large enough? Would the other brute even want to share? This time Saidin did sigh. Sweeper's presence was just complicating what could have been a whole lot of easygoing... easiness. Now, instead of relaxing, they were all tense and on edge- Kota almost looked ready to roll over and expose her belly at the next flash of white fur she saw, if that tucked tail was any indication. Stepping closer to her, he nudged her shoulder lightly, silently trying to reassure her before returning his attention to the others. "All right then. Let's all go, and we can just be extra-alert when we come back. Rather hard for two wolves to ambush four so just let 'em try. And if he's lurking about he can just STARVE out there waiting for us!" Brave words, if his raised hackles hadn't betrayed just how uneasy the dark-pelted wolf really was.

Bruno's attention subsided as the conversation bolted for authority over the pack. He felt relatively content with the way the pack had been keeping up, but it was true; a leader was needed on the male and female parts. He listened intently to Saidin's non-spoken words, his actions, showing his distaste for the topic as well. Thoughts where scrambling through his mind; it was obvious that Saidin's den was much too small for the pack to live in, and Bruno was surely going to welcome all into his den in due time, but maybe it was time. Surely he would have to keep an eye on Kota and Saidin both incase they decided to try to overthrow the alpha.
His stomach grumbled in dissatisfaction of how Bruno was spending his time. "I'm starving," he struggled to complete his sentences, "let's get some grub." He glared across the open grassy pasture to spy a small rabbit rustling in the bushes.

OoC:; Sweeper's gonna be a bitch. xDD Snow sighed lightly, nudging Kota's shoulder, ignoring the males' rambling. Let's go. She said lightly, eyeing Saidin. Sweetsnow had been one to grow attached to the females in her pack- avoiding the males. The only reason she wasn't freaking out about having to spend so much time with the two, Saidin and Bruno, was she was on edge already. What with Sweeper roaming around. She caught sight of something in the corner of her eye, but when she whirled around, whatever had moved wasn't there. Blind was the moving figure- he'd made a mad dash from one bush to another, hiding as Sweeper had instructed. He had hopefully done it when no one was looking- since everyone was focused on talking. He crouched, his fur on end, as Snow glanced towards him. He didn't know she was looking at him, of course, but he was crouching anyways, being sure not to be seen. He would either be killed by Sweeper or this mini-pack, if he screwed up.

She rose, already following the fae without an inch of contribution towards the brute's conversation. She was grateful for Snow's distraction and she soon caught up with her in ease. And for a moment, she had sworn she had heard movement in the bushes. She paused with a tilt of her muzzle, before shaking it and continuing forward. Saidin's words and actions had brought confidence to the young female.. But she was still as jumpy as ever. And it would take the wolf a while to get out of the state. Hopefully sooner, rather than later, as her concetration would be needed in the hunt. "You don't think Sweeper would really strike.. I mean.." She snorted lightly. "I don't hate him- it seems as if he acts in defense... But his actions are uncalled for. None of us had accused him of any crimes. And as far as I am aware none of us had insulted the brute until after he attacked us..." Unlike with Snow and Bruno eariler, she hadn't really lowered her voice- she really didn't care whether the minature pack had heard her voiced thoughts. In fact.. She almost hoped that they had heard. At least then maybe she could emphasise that the way forward might not be to destroy the threat.. But to drive him away. Maybe even.. Befriend? Her muzzle shook vigiriously with the thought. Now even that was taking things over board and she knew it herself.

Snow's eyes flickered across the landscape as she fell back into step with Kota, expecting the males to follow without hesitation. She cocked her head as she listened to Kota talk. Sweeper is unpredictable. If anything, we should stay out of his way. Should the time come, we will fight him. Sweetsnow said lightly. He's here. Right now. She smiled lightly to Kota, and flicked her auds. Her voice was low enough so that only the other fea could hear. But he's just listening, I think. She looked back to Saidin and Bruno, staring at them for a moment before looking back to Kota.

Her muzzle lowered to the ground, acting as if she were scenting the ground. But instead she was thinking.. Why would a brute who wished harm to a barely formed pack just.. Listen? It made no sense to her. But rather than speaking her thoughts or dwelling on them for much longer, she rose her maw. She needed her concentration for the hunt ahead of them. "I don't understand, but what I think is best for us now is to hunt." She paused, her gaze shifting to the distance. "Are you ready?"

Bruno rose to his feet. He stretched his lengthy body out as he began to build up energy. "What are we looking for? Something big, small .... Whatcha want?" Hoping it was something rather large, preferably a caribou so the entire pack could pick away at the animal. He was hoping everyone could eat and be satisfied with one kill. Besides, Bruno wasn't the kind of wolf to help kill something small for each and every wolf.

"I'd say let's get something large; I haven't gotten to really hunt in... well, it's been a while." Saidin replied enthusiastically, padding along at the rear of the little group. Nose tilted into the air, almost as high as his tail was currently fluttering in the gentle breeze, he inhaled deeply. This was nice, he thought happily. Being with a pack again. Bonding together into one cohesive unit. Ears at attention and listening for any odd noises, eyes searching the foliage and nose testing the air for promising aromas, the black wolf was whole-heartedly throwing himself into the hunt. Sure, despite the astounding numbers of prey about he hadn't succeeded in the pre-dawn hours, but with four hungry predators on the prowl they'd have to succeed.

"Ah," a slightly excited sigh jumped from his maw, "Big meal it is then..." His eyes scanned the territory around them and with glee he stepped forward in the direction of the Berry Grounds (ooc; hint hint). Lifting his esquisitely proportioned head he sniffed the drifting winds. Something had to be here, he thought silently. Although he could smell a variety of prey he wasn't sure what the group where going to encounter, based on his failure to explore the surroundings before initiating a direction in which they would walk, together. His excited expression seemed to make others look perplexed, so his lips dropped down back into a relatively bored appearance. Little hairs of grey tipped hue rose and fell with the violent shaking of his coat. This endeavor was going to be quite an experience for the crew. Bruno was surely going to aid, but his first thought that came to mind was ineed, Sweeper. Uncomfortable enough with having to hunt with a newly unorganized pack, he tried to tune out the terrorizing thought of Sweeper hurting one of the members. He turned to catch the view of the following as he continued on his path.

With an unexpected burst of energy, the fea sprang forth. We have enough wolves for something large. Nothing with horns. Young, or very old. She said, as she turned to fall back into step with Kota, her fur ruffling with the slight breeze.

His thought process churned and planned, so much as though it was playing like a movie in his mind. He tilted one ear to the rear, something distracting was behind him, but his eyes never departed from one of the foes. He was hoping the others where in tune with which doe had been chosen and deemed the victim. It was medium in size with slight fat rounding its underbelly, chosen sololy because he thought it was enough for the pack and still not too much of a challange for some of the new comers. He stood patiently uncertainty clouded his path; he wondered if he should spring toward the three and seperate the victim or be the defense of the pack and chase off the buck; since he was visibly in the distance.
